Simplify Payments for One-Time Visits
A Single Visit Pass is an essential tool for businesses offering classes or appointments, often referred to as a "drop-in" pass. It provides clients with a flexible, pay-as-you-go option that doesn’t require long-term commitments. Whether you’re allowing casual visitors to book one session or giving members an easy way to purchase extra visits, single visit passes help simplify the transaction process for one-time services.
Benefits of Single Visit Passes
- Convenience for Clients: Single visit passes allow clients to drop in for services without the need for long-term memberships or prepaid packages, perfect for those testing your offerings.
- Increased Flexibility: Whether you limit sales to staff only or make it available to everyone, single visit passes give you control over how they are sold.
- Seamless Integration: Single visit pricing is automatically included when you create any class or appointment service, making it a streamlined part of your setup.

Note: A single visit price cannot be removed once it’s set. If you do not wish clients to purchase or see the single visit option, you can restrict it to “No one” (only staff members will be able to sell it).
Modifying a Single Visit Pass in a Class/Appointment Service
If you need to make adjustments to the single visit price after the service has been created, you can do so quickly:
-
Access Service Settings
- Go to Settings at the top of any Pike13 page.
- Click on Services.
-
Select the Service
- Choose the service you wish to modify.
- Click on the Details tab.
-
Edit Single Visit Pass
- Scroll down to the Single Visit Pass section and click Edit.
- Make your changes and click Save.
Best Practice: Create a Separate Single Visit Prepaid Pass
While single visit passes are automatically included with every service, you might want more control over the purchase process. For example, if you want to include terms and conditions or allow clients to buy a single visit prior to enrolling in a service, it’s a good idea to create a separate prepaid pass.
- This pass can be tailored with a specific description, limitations, and other details.
- To avoid confusion, we recommend that you restrict clients from purchasing the single visit pass included with the service and instead guide them to purchase the prepaid pass for individual visits.
Pro Tip: Offering a prepaid pass for single visits with clear terms is an excellent way to give clients more flexibility while protecting your business's interests. It also provides a seamless experience for those who prefer to pay upfront before booking.
By setting up single visit passes, you offer clients an easy, no-commitment way to experience your services, while ensuring your business captures revenue for individual appointments or classes. Whether you configure it as part of your service or create a separate prepaid pass, you’ll provide flexibility that caters to both new and returning clients.
