Setting Up the Apple Accounts Required for a Branded App

The paid branded app is a separate app that you can purchase for your business. If you have purchased the branded app, it will be available in both the Google Play and Apple stores. If you are interested in purchasing the branded app, please reach out to our sales team at sales@pike13.com.

The branded app may be added on to Advanced or Essential subscriptions.

Prerequisites

In order to add your branded app to the Apple Store:

  1. Obtain a D-U-N-S number

  2. Be enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an 'Company/Organization' not as an 'Individual.'

Due to Apple's guidelines, your business must register its own Apple Developer account. Pike13 cannot assist in setting up this account.

After setting up your organization's Apple Developer Account, you will need to grant our development team access to this account and iTunes Connect.

Set Up Apple Developer Account

  1. To setup an Apple Developer Account you will need an Apple ID.
    1. If you do not already have an Apple ID, you can create one here - create one. Your Apple ID will be associated with your Apple Developer Account. Apple charges an annual fee for developer accounts.
  2. Go to https://developer.apple.com/programs/enroll/
    1. Read through the checklist of items required then select ENROLL.  You must enroll as an Organization and have a D-U-N-S Number. The D-U-N-S Number is a unique nine-digit number that identifies business entities on a location-specific basis. Please visit https://developer.apple.com/support/D- U-N-S/ for more information and to request a D-U-N-S Number.
  3. To Start your Apple Enrollment, enter your Apple ID and password.
  4. Under Entity Type, select to sign up as a Company/Organization. Only a Company/Organization is able to support multiple users, and is therefore a requirement for the Pike13 deployments platform.
  5. Enter the required contact information and read through the license agreement and click Continue.
  6. Verify the information that you've entered and click Continue.
  7. Review the purchase details and click Purchase.
  8. You will then be directed to a Sign In page, simply enter your Apple ID credentials.
  9. Enter the necessary billing information and click Continue.

Granting Pike13 Access

  1. Navigate to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/
  2. Login using your Apple credentials.
  3. On the App Store Connect homepage, click Users and Access.
  4. Click the plus sign.
  5. Enter the user information below:
    1. First Name: Pike13
    2. Last Name: Developers
    3. Email Address: dev@pike13.com
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select the roles to assign to this user and choose Admin.
