Troubleshooting for Account Claiming


In your claim email there will be a link to follow that will finish the account claim process.

We have a few troubleshooting suggestions if this process is not working for you.

Not receiving the Welcome Email?

  • If you check your spam folder there is a chance your email service decided you might not want to see that claim email by mistake!
  • You will want to add do-not-reply@pike13.com and help@pike13.com to their contacts list to prevent any further emails from being filtered as spam since your notification selection will be sent to this same email account and we don't want to miss getting you any important notifications.
  • If the email still does not appear, reach out to the business directly. Request that they check to see if your email was suppressed by mistake in order to have a welcome email resent.

What if I am being redirected to Pike13.com or another business?

Sometimes if you have or had an account with another Pike13 business your web browser might remember that connection. We have a few steps to get you ready to start with your new account.

  • Opening your claim link from the welcome email into an incognito browser avoids having to reset cookies and handles the majority of issues that a user might encounter.

Clear saved passwords and cookies; if the incognito browser is not working for you then it might be an issue with the browser you are using being a bit too helpful with automatic login to your other accounts.

An easy way to clear cookies is with the lock icon in the URL bar

  1. Select Cookies and Site Data 

  2. Then the Manage Cookies and Site Data option

  3. There will be a trash can for each relevant site, first clear Looker, then if there are still issues try clearing all the options and logging back in.


Try another browser, using another trusted browser that you do not have custom settings on can help avoid automation that is interfering with account claims.


Double-check that you are using a browser for this process, you cannot claim your client account using a Pike13 app at this time.
