Configuring Additional Options on the Schedule

Advanced Schedule Views, Filtering, and Service Colors

In addition to customizing your view of the Schedule page (List, Day, Week, Month), Pike13 offers several other configuration options to further tailor the display to your needs. These settings allow you to control how your schedule is presented, helping you and your team manage appointments more effectively.

1. Changing Schedule Orientation

Pike13 allows you to change the orientation of the schedule in both Day and Week views, giving you greater flexibility in how you visualize your appointments. You can switch between Horizontal and Vertical orientations depending on your preference and the amount of detail you want to see at a glance.

  • Day View:

    • Horizontal Orientation displays staff members on the left-hand side of the schedule, while the hours of the day are shown across the top. This layout allows you to see each staff member’s schedule for the entire day, hour by hour.
    • Vertical Orientation displays the hours of the day on the left-hand side, with staff members listed across the top. Each staff member’s scheduled events appear beneath their name, making it easier to compare schedules at a glance.
  • Week View:

    • Horizontal Orientation displays the days of the week on the left side of the schedule, with the hours of the day across the top. This layout gives you a comprehensive look at your entire week’s schedule, hour by hour.
    • Vertical Orientation shows the hours of the day on the left and the days of the week across the top. This format is useful when you want to quickly compare availability or appointments across multiple days.
  • How to Change: You can toggle between Horizontal and Vertical orientations by accessing the settings on the Schedule page. Simply select the view that best fits your scheduling needs.

2. Filtering by Staff, Service, or Location

If your business has multiple staff members or operates in different locations, you can filter the schedule to display only the appointments for specific staff members or locations. This is helpful for businesses with large teams or multiple service sites, as it allows you to focus on the appointments that are most relevant at any given time.

  • How to Use: On the Schedule page, click on the Gear Icon to open the Calendar Settings.  Use the menu to filter the service, staff member, or location you’d like to view. The schedule will update to show only the relevant services on the calendar

3. Color-Coding Services

Pike13 allows you to assign specific colors to different services, making it easier to distinguish between various types of appointments or classes on your schedule. Color-coding can be especially helpful if you offer a wide range of services and want to quickly differentiate between them at a glance.

  • How to Use: Go to your service settings to assign colors to specific services. Once configured, your schedule will display appointments with the assigned colors, giving you an instant visual cue about the type of service scheduled.

By configuring these additional options on the Schedule page, you can further customize how your appointments are displayed and managed. Whether it’s adjusting the orientation, filtering by staff or location, color-coding services, or setting client and staff permissions, these features help streamline your scheduling process.
