Moving Your Client Data to Pike13
During your trial period, you can explore the features of Pike13, but the actual import of your active clients and their current passes and plans into Pike13 will take place once you purchase a full subscription and are assigned an onboarding specialist. This process ensures that you have a seamless transition to using Pike13 for your business needs.
Prior to Importing
To get started with importing your client data, you'll need to have the following set up in your Pike13 site:
- Services
- Plans and Passes
- Client Sign Up Settings
- Client Custom Fields for Additional Data
Keep in mind that importing does not happen automatically. Timing is essential, so you'll want to ensure that the data you import is the most current. This will also allow time for careful review before the import occurs.
Your onboarding specialist may need up to a week to import the data into your Pike13 site, so planning ahead is key.
The Importing Process
Once you are signed up for a full subscription, notify your onboarding specialist that you will be sending over .xls or .csv files containing your active client data and their current pass/plan data. Your onboarding specialist will first review the data and follow up with you if they have any questions.
After reviewing the files, your specialist will prepare draft import files for your review. Typically, this process takes about a week, but the duration may vary depending on the quality and completeness of the data you provide.
Once you receive the draft import files, carefully review them and make any necessary corrections. After confirming that the data is accurate, send the final import files back to your onboarding specialist. The actual import into Pike13 usually takes another business day.
Please note that some data may not be importable due to issues such as missing emails or incorrect names. In such cases, your onboarding specialist will provide you with a list of clients whose data could not be imported, along with the reasons for the issues.
Data That Can Be Imported
The following client data can be imported into Pike13:
- Name (first, middle, last)
- Email address
- Home phone
- Home address
- Active plans or passes that clients have already purchased
- Home location
- Country
- Birthdate
- Guardian name
- Guardian email address
- Managed clients
- Primary staff member
- Additional custom fields
- Saved payment information (varies by provider and may incur extra costs)
