Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing is a powerful way to streamline your payment collections. Also known as auto-drafts or bank drafts, ACH enables you to effortlessly take electronic payments directly from your clients' bank accounts. With ACH, you can reduce the hassle of manual transactions and focus more on what matters most—serving your clients!
Why Choose ACH Processing?
- Convenience: ACH payments are a reliable way for clients to make payments directly from their bank accounts, making transactions quick and hassle-free.
- Secure Storage: Only your staff can securely store clients’ bank account information, ensuring privacy and security.
- Efficient Management: Say goodbye to repetitive data entry! Once bank account information is stored, it doesn’t need to be re-entered for each purchase.
How It Works
-

- Select Advanced Settings.
- Under Accepted Payments, ensure ACH is marked with a green checkbox.

-

To add a client’s bank account:- In the client profile, click on Payment Methods.
- Select Add New Bank Account.
- Enter the Bank Name, Account Number, and Routing Number.
- Choose the Account Type and click Save.
Important Notes for Canadian and Australian Customers:
- Canadian Customers: Enter the Institution Number (3 digits) followed by the Branch Number (5 digits) for the Transit/Account Number. Sometimes, a leading zero may be required to form a 9-digit number.
- Australian Customers: After an ACH payment is processed, the invoice status will change to closed. If a payment fails via Integrapay, the failure will not be reflected in Pike13, so you will need to check with Integrapay to track any failed payments.
Once an ACH payment is processed, the invoice status is immediately marked as closed. If the payment fails, the invoice will be reopened. In rare cases, if an invoice was already canceled when the payment failed, it cannot be reopened and will remain canceled.
