UX Designer II

Full-time

Location: Remote

Annual Salary: 70-80k

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Advocating for great user experience on our SaaS product as well our mobile app.
• Conducting onsite and remote customer research and usability testing.
• Assisting with translating user stories into higher fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Incorporating industry-best design practices into your work, explaining design choices, and providing rationale.
• Working with our development team to implement and integrate your designs.
• Developing and expanding our visual pattern libraries and style guides.
• Conduct user tests to validate designs and product direction.
• Work in a cross-functional capacity to help drive design thinking and UX between products.
• Working within an Agile (Scrum) environment to plan and deliver projects incrementally.
• Interfacing directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand user needs and goals.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and developers to help move our products forward.
• Contributing to our company road map to help shape and influence vision for current and future products.

You probably possess some of the following skills/ experience/interests:

• Degree / Diploma in Design, Graphic Design, User Experience Design, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in design fundamentals like typography, color theory, layout, responsive web design, and user-centered design principles.
• Knowledge of current and emerging standards in design trends.
• Proven experience working with HTML & CSS.
• A strong understanding of Accessible Design (WCAG).
• Proficiency in experience design technology such as Figma, InVision, UXPin, MoqUps, Adobe XD and Adobe's Creative Suite.
• Experience with common user research and usability testing methodologies and proven ability using data to inform your designs and decisions.

Bonus if you possess some of the following skills/ experience:

• Experience designing eCommerce or Scheduling applications.
• Experience with an online user testing platform.
